I was born and raised in St. Louis and moved to Springfield in 2004. I still bleed Mississippi River water: Cardinals, Blues, STL Zoo, Imo’s Pizza, toasted ravioli and Ted Drewes. Now I’m hungry. I am a Star Wars nerd and love The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Three kids call me “dad.” Thanks for listening and please join me during the Morning MIX weekday mornings 6-10 a.m.
You can catch me weekdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., during the Midday MIX and 90’s at Noon! Some may know me as “Tuna Melt,” from the KISS-FM heyday. I am a native of the 217 and am a distant relative of Abraham Lincoln #seriously. Likes: Starbucks, reality TV, instagram filters, the Kardashians (minus Rob), my nephew, wedding planning (I’m getting hitched this year!) traveling and emojis. Dislikes: Bondsy, loud chewing, pens when they run out of ink, bad drivers, rollercoasters, heights and grammatical errors (hashtags don’t count).
Whether he’s slinging jokes on stage at Donnie B’s or other comedy spots across the country, tickling funny bones on YouTube, or applying headlocks inside wrestling rings (yes, for real), Kyle Kincaid has spent his entire life entertaining audiences. After spending 13 years performing every job possible for a morning show in Lexington, Kentucky (including such important work as being covered in bubble wrap and being shoved down stairs), Kyle made his way to Springfield to try his hand at something even more dangerous: putting up with Bondsy and Taylor. Check him out every weekday on your drive home from 2-7 p.m. on The Afternoon Mix!
What’s up, 217? I’m Chris, AKA: Jammer, Pajammerz, Pajamjam, Jimmy-Jammy, Hammer-Jammer, etc. I’m a native Springfield-ian/Chatham-ite. When I’m not spinning the beats on your radio, I can be found at the local skating rink also spinning the beats and shooting the duck, the local TV station, and sometimes at our sister station, WFMB. Catch me weekends 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and also anywhere else Bondsy decides to stick me last minute.
